몽고반점, Mongolian spots

몽고반점은 선천성 피부반점 중 하나이다.
청흑색, 청회색, 또는 짙은 갈색이고 납작하고 그 가장자리가 불확실하고 크기가 다양하다.
요부 척추와 천골 척추가 있는 부위 피부, 옆구리,엉덩이, 어깨, 등,얼굴, 팔다리,안구 등에 나 있을 수 있다.
몽고반점이 여러 개가 피부 여기저기에 나 있을 수 있다.
대부분의 몽고반점은 출생 시 바로 나타나고 생후 1~2세 전에 저절로 없어지는 것이 보통이다.
일부는 7~13세에 없어지기도 한다.
아주 드물게는 성인이 된 후에도 그대로 남아 있을 수 있다.
몽고반점은 흑인들과 미 인디안계 신생아들의 90%, 동양계 신생아들의 82%, 백인계 신생아들의 9.2%에서 나타난다고 한다.

증상 징후, 병력, 진찰소견으로 진단하고 자연히 치료가 된다.

Mongolian spots 몽고반점

Mongolian spots are one of the congenital skin spots.

Blue-black, bluish-gray, or dark brown, flat, with uncertain edges, and varying in size.

The lumbar spine and sacral spine can be found on the skin, flanks, buttocks, shoulders, back, face, limbs, and eyes. There may be several Mongolian spots all over the skin.

Most Mongolian spots appear immediately at birth and usually go away on their own before 1-2 years of age. Some disappear at the age of 7 to 13. Very rarely, it can remain as it is after reaching adulthood.

Mongolian spots are said to occur in 90% of black and American newborns, 82% of Asian newborns, and 9.2% of white newborns.
