턱이 앞가슴에 닿을 정도로 갓 태어난 신생아들의 목의 길이는 비교적으로 짧다.
목에 선천성 혈관종이나 림프종 등 양성종양이 나 있을 수 있다.
분만 중 질 산도를 통과할 때 한쪽이나 양쪽의 쇄골이 골절될 수 있다.
쇄골이 골절되면 골절된 쇄골이 있는 쪽 목과 팔을 정상적으로 잘 움직이지 않을 수 있다.
때로는 쇄골이 골절된 것을 조금도 모르고 지나갈 수 있다.
골절된 쇄골의 부위를 손으로 살짝 만지면 골절된 쇄골 부분이 부어있는 것을 알 수 있다.

The neck length of newborn babies is relatively short so that the chin touches the anterior chest wall.
Benign tumors, such as congenital hemangioma or lymphoma, may be present in the neck.
One or both clavicles may fracture when passing through the vaginal birth canal during delivery.
When the collarbone is fractured, the neck and arm on the side of the fractured collarbone may not move properly.
Sometimes, you can pass by without even knowing that your collarbone has been fractured.
If you touch the part of the fractured clavicle lightly with your hand, you can see that the part of the fractured clavicle is swollen.
If you suspect that your baby has a clavicle fracture, consult a doctor for diagnostic treatment.
