신생아의 항문, Anus of newborn infants

갓 태어나서 생후 1∼3일까지 흑갈색의 태변을 정상적으로 볼 수 있다.
항문이나 직장의 일부나 전부가 선천적으로 막힌 기형을 쇄항증이라 한다.
드물게 볼 수 있는 항문기형이다.
직장이나 항문의 일부분이 불완전하게 막히면 국수 가락처럼 가는 태변을 볼 수 있다.
직장이나 항문의 일부분이나 전부가 완전히 막힌 선천성 기형이 있으면 태변을 조금도 눌 수 없다.
직장이나 항문이 완전히 막히면 항문을 눈으로 직접 보고 항문이 막힌 것을 진단할 수 있다.
태어난 후 신생아의 체온을 처음 잴 때 항문 체온계를 항문 속에 넣을 수 없기 때문에 항문이 막힌 것을 처음 진단하기도 한다.
항문이 선천성으로 막혀 항문이 없는 기형을 무항증(쇄항증)이라 한다.
무항증은 수술로 치료한다(쇄항증 참조).
신생아가 눈 대변이 외음부와 외 요도구에 묻으면 그 대변 속에 있는 대장균 등 박테리아가 외 요도구 부위에 묻을 수 있다.
그 박테리아가 요로에 감염되어 요로 감염이 생길 수 있다. 신생아들이나 신생아기 이후 영아들과 유아들이 대변을 보고 난 후 항문을 닦아줄 때 외음부 쪽에서 항문 방향 쪽으로 닦아서 요로 감염을 예방한다.

You can see dark brown meconium normally until 1-3 days after birth.
Deformities in which part or all of the anus or rectum is congenital blockage are called anal atresia. It is a rare anal deformity.
If a part of the rectum or anus is incompletely blocked, you can see meconium that is thin like noodles.
If you have a congenital anomaly in which part or all of your newborn’s rectum or anus is completely blocked,
Your newborns cannot press the meconium at all. If the rectum or anus is completely blocked,
You can diagnose an anus blockage by looking directly at the anus.
The first time a newborn’s body temperature is measured after birth, the anal thermometer cannot be inserted into the anus, so it is sometimes diagnosed for the first time that the anus is blocked.
A malformation without an anus due to a congenital blockage of the anus is called an imperforate anus
Imperforate anus is treated with surgery (see “Clavicle”).
If a newborn baby’s stool gets on the vulva and external urethra, bacteria such as E. coli in the stool can get on the external urethra.
The bacteria can infect the urinary tract and cause a urinary tract infection.
When newborns or post-natal infants and toddlers wipe the anus after stooling, it is done from the vulva to the anus to prevent urinary tract infection.
