정상 만삭 신생아의 피부가 정상적으로 쪼글 그리고 조금 벗겨질 수 있다.
임신 42주 이후에 태어난 과숙아들이나 저체중 신생아들의 피부는 더 쪼글쪼글할 수 있고, 피부도 얇게 벗겨지면서 더 건조할 수 있다.
좀 더 쪼글쪼글하거나 마르고 얇게 벗겨진 피부에 연고나 로션을 꼭 발라 줄 필요는 없다.
그런 쪼글쪼글한 피부에다 다른 신생아들의 정상 피부와 다름없이 목욕을 시켜도 된다.
벗겨지고 쪼글쪼글하던 마른 피부도 생후 2∼4주 정도 지나면 자연히 정상적으로 예쁜 아기의 피부로 변화되는 것이 보통이다.

태어나기 전에는 양수 속에 잠겨 있던 태아가 태어난 후 바로 온몸에 묻은 양수가 다 마르고 생리적 체중 감소가 정상적으로 생기기 때문에 갓 태어난 아기들의 피부가 쪼글쪼글한 것이다.
의사에게 문의해서 경미한 보습제로 치료한다.

The skin of a normal-term newborn baby may crack normally and slightly peel off.
Over-mature babies born after 42 weeks of gestation or underweight newborns may have more puckered skin, thinner peeling, and drier skin.
There is no need to apply an ointment or lotion to the skin that is more slender or thin and thin. You can bathe the skin like that of other newborn babies on that skin.
It is common for dry skin that had been peeled off and wrinkled to naturally turn into a beautiful baby’s skin after 2 to 4 weeks of age.

The skin of newborn babies is wrinkled because the amniotic fluid on the whole body dries up and physiological weight loss occurs normally immediately after the fetus, which was submerged in amniotic fluid before birth, is born. Ask your doctor to treat it with a mild moisturizer.
